Mercy Junortoun Sporting Precinct

The Mercy Junortoun Sporting Precinct opened on 8 September 2023, providing much-needed school and community joint-use sporting facilities at the Coolock Campus in Junortoun.

The project is a partnership between Catherine McAuley College Bendigo (CMCB), the City of Greater Bendigo (COGB), Cricket Australia, Cricket Victoria and the Victorian Government.

The College is delighted to announce that community club bookings are now open for the Mercy Junortoun Sporting Precinct.

The new indoor sporting complex, amenities and cricket hub include:

  • Two-court indoor stadium with community and club social and meeting spaces, kitchen and kiosk spaces
  • Local level AFL, Cricket Victoria, and Netball Victoria female-friendly changerooms and amenities, umpire changerooms, storage areas and first aid room
  • External viewing area to all sports fields
  • Cricket hub area including a six-lane cricket training net facility with operable walls, dedicated storage space and office administration area.

INSPECTION OF MJSP FACILITIES from 2 January 2024

Visits by appointment can be arranged to inspect the new facilities after 2 January 2024. To discuss booking the indoor stadium or cricket hub, please email the Sporting Precinct Manager, Craig Green, at mjsp@cmc.vic.edu.au.
