Year 9 Swimming consolidates skills and knowledge

Students in Year 9 Health & Physical Education classes have recently participated in a 4-week Swimming and Water Safety program at Faith Leech Aquatic Centre, Bendigo East Pool and Brennan Park Pool. Throughout the program, students consolidated skills and knowledge associated with safe water entry, contact and non-contact rescues, survival swimming, treading water and competitive stroke techniques.

Students also experienced a range of aquatic-based recreation activities, such as snorkelling, deep water retrieval games, pool-based ball games and team-building initiatives. Congratulations to all students who participated in the program.
