Year 8 News – 27 February 2025
27/02/2025The term is in full swing, and the students have settled into Year 8 life beautifully. We are very busy planning the upcoming camp to Anglesea, which is sure to be one of the highlights of the year.
In other news, cricket and volleyball teams are nearing final selection. We commend everyone who has participated and wish the successful students the best of luck in the competition later this term.
This term, our focus has been on ‘Doing the One Percenters Well’, which means, setting ourselves up for a successful year by prioritising the basics. This includes being punctual, bringing all the right equipment for each class, and treating those around with kindness and respect. These ‘One Percenters’ are essential life skills that will ensure our students are friendly and organised members of the community – character traits that will take them far in life!
We can never say ‘it is enough’ if we strive to do the little things well.
Take care,
Mrs Kim Greenwell, Mr Josh Hann, Mrs Marinè Snyman & Mrs Jenni McGrath
