Year 7 News – 8 February 2024

Our 2024 Year 7 cohort has successfully navigated their way through a very busy first two weeks of secondary school. On Day 1, the students arrived dressed immaculately in their CMCB uniforms and with mixed emotions, combining nervous anticipation and excitement over what challenges lay ahead. Over the following days the students have made some wonderful new connections with fellow students, met all their new teachers, mastered their locks and lockers and found their way to buses, the canteen and all of their classrooms.

The Year 7 students also attended their very first Opening Mass and Laureate Presentation, taking great inspiration from the messages conveyed and the recognition of award winners. As Year Level Learning Leaders, we and our fellow staff have been delighted with the start that our Year 7 students’ have made to the year and the high level of effort and beautiful manners they have displayed. We would like to wish all of our Year 7 students and families every success and we look forward to working in partnership with you throughout the 2024 school year.
