Year 7 French – Learning Culture Creatively

Year 7 French students have been very creative with their French Culture Assignments, where they researched topics such as foods, the arts, music, perfume, cars, and fashion.

Students collected information from advertisements, shops, supermarkets, brochures, the internet and samples from the shops.

They compared these with Australian products, considering how French culture and products have been introduced into our country and whether Australian products would be found over in France. Does the topic you’re investigating have much of an influence in our country?

Year 7 students also designed a French street. They used their French language skills to role-play two people living on the street, including their likes, dislikes and type of personality.
