Year 10 News – 9 May 2024

09/05/2024

Our wonderful Year 10s have been taking up many of the opportunities on offer this term, which has been great to see. They have been signing up, trialling, and playing in a variety of sports teams. They have travelled to the Great Stupa of Universal Compassion and have been given a guided tour of the Djaara Lights, as an extension on their work in Religious Education. Many of our Year 10s are also out enjoying life in the workforce as they engage in Work Experience this week. Next week, our students enrolled in Work Preparation will be experiencing Structured Workplace Learning (SWL) as part of their course and will be out working with a variety of trades and businesses in the area.

It is great to see our Year 10s getting involved and representing the CMCB community in a variety of positive ways. We are reminded to ensure that we live the 3 Be’s – Be Respectful, Be Responsible and Be Kind – every day, both in our classrooms and the school yard, but also in the wider community, as we represent our school, ourselves, and our families as we engage in so many wonderful experiences.
