Welcome Year 7 Class of 2022

21/01/2022

FIRST DAY OF CLASSES TUESDAY 1 FEBRUARY 2022

On arrival, Year 7 students will be greeted by staff who will assist them with moving to McAuley Square to begin their day gathered as a year level. During the day they will participate in a welcome program including spending time with their teachers, Student Advocates and classmates and getting to know their rooms and lockers, the campus and how things like timetables work.

Buses will be running on this day, so if you are a bus traveller, you are welcome to catch it on the first day. Staff will also be on hand at the end of the day to assist with those who are travelling home via bus to ensure everyone makes it home safely and on the correct bus.

Students don’t have to bring all of their books and equipment on the first day, they can bring it in over the first couple of days so they are not overloaded on day one. All students will need is their pencil case, a couple of exercise books, and folders – so their teachers can assist students to organise their books and set up their lockers.  Also, don’t forget your drink bottle and lunch – the canteen will be open too.

All Year 7 students will have a photo taken taken on the first day for their ID Cards, so we look forward to seeing everyone looking their best in full, correct academic summer uniform (no sport uniforms please). Note these photos are for ID Cards only; 2022 official school photos will be taken in the first week of Term 4, at which stage families will be able to order copies.
