Welcome to 2019

31/01/2019

Pastoral Planning Day was a wonderful start to the 2019 school year. There was great excitement as students and their families walked through the doors of the Sister Aloysius Martyn Arts Centre for the very first time.

Close to 1400 pastoral meetings were held with learning mentors, designed to ensure students have the best possible start to the 2019 school year.

Classes will commence in the new building from the first day back, Friday 1 February. A range of specialist and general learning areas will support integrated learning across the STEAM areas – Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics.

At St Mary’s, the major upgrade to the Kelly Building has proceeded well over the break. The kitchens and Allied Health classrooms, a new canteen and indoor/outdoor dining space are due for completion later this term.

The upcoming Open Evening on 20 March will be an opportunity for the broader community to explore the Sister Aloysius Martyn Arts Centre and discover more about the contemporary learning opportunities at Catherine McAuley College.
