Valuable and Vibrant – Careers Expo 2025

22/05/2025

On Tuesday 20 May, Catherine McAuley College Bendigo (CMCB) ran our annual Careers Expo. This year was another great success with over 50 organisations and 150 professionals in attendance, transforming the Marian Gymnasium with vibrant stalls and a buzzing atmosphere.

Curious students and families continuously flowed through the Expo, eager to engage with stall holders and gather important career, course and vocational information to assist with planning their futures.

As in previous years, our students were praised for their initiative and level of interest, with many positive conversations taking place.

We were delighted to extend an invitation once again to Marist College Bendigo senior students, many of whom attended the Expo and made the most of the opportunity to discuss their futures and engage with exhibitors.

We would like to thank everyone who was involved in the event, including the organisers, the staff who volunteered their time to attend and the maintenance team for getting it all set up. Thank you also to Marist, for providing catering for the Expo exhibitors.

And finally a huge thank you to all the exhibitors, without whom this event could not take place. We are very privileged to be able to host such a large event within our community, which gives regional students access to a broad range of education, training and workplace information all under the one roof.

“Thanks for another fantastic event last night. We all enjoyed it immensely.” (Fleur Coutanche, Youth Specialist Officer, Proactive Policing Unit – Acting Sergeant)

“Thank you team for a great expo last night at CMCB. We spoke to so many future students and their families. Popular courses were Medicine, Science, Engineering, Education, Nursing, Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy. Jaxon Mullane had a great time back at the school, talking with old friends and the current students.” (Scott Knight, Monash University)
