Our College Swimming and Diving teams competed at the Sandhurst Championships on Thursday 29 February at the Faith Leech Aquatic Centre. Congratulations to all competitors – it was a great day for everyone, with some outstanding achievements recorded.

Special congratulations to Zarah Reynolds, April Downing and Telani Bibby who were named as their Age-Group Champions.

In Diving, we saw an outstanding performance from Kiara Field. Kiara not only won the 17-20yr girls section but was an incredible role model and mentor to every other competitor in the competition. She willingly gave instructions and advice to everyone registered for the event. Her expertise and leadership were greatly appreciated by all. Congratulations Kiara.

Our results were amazing as our 13-16 year old girls won their Division and the boys finished a very credible 4th in the Boys Division. Overall, CMCB finished 2nd, which was a fantastic achievement by the whole team.

Twenty-one students have now qualified for the Loddon Mallee Regional competition in Swan Hill on Tuesday 12 March. We wish the team the very best for the next stage of the competition.
