What’s on in Bendigo

Bendigo Sustainable Living Festival – 28 March

The Sustainable Living Festival aims to celebrate the very best of sustainable living products, programs, goods and services that are active here in Central Victoria. The day will feature many talks and workshops run by experienced guest speakers as well as stalls, electric vehicles, kids’ activities, music, and delicious food will be there for attendees to enjoy

Main focuses of the day

  • Repurposing/recycling, renewable energy, sustainable construction, agriculture and gardening, ethical approaches to climate change as well as a big focus on wellbeing for the mind, body and soul.

March Sustainability Challenge

No single use plastic cutlery at school for month! The end of Term 1 is only just around the corner, take up the challenge a try to bring your own cutlery to school even if you have a lunch order. One plastic fork doesn’t seem like much, but it all adds up.

Together we can make a change.

We’re are hoping to have a new Sustainability challenge each month so if anyone has any ideas for upcoming Challenges or anything Sustainability-
related please email either of us, we would love to hear your suggestions.
