Supporting Women and Children in Need: A Community Effort
11/06/2025On Friday 6 June, our Year 11 Faith Captain, Rose McSweeney, proudly delivered a generous collection of donations for McAuley Services for Women and Children. This vital organisation supports women and children experiencing family violence and homelessness.
In preparation for the donation drive, Rose visited several local pharmacies to raise awareness about the importance of McAuley’s work. Thanks to her initiative and advocacy, UFS Pharmacy in Strathfieldsaye kindly contributed a significant number of hygiene items to support our Term 2 appeal.
We extend our gratitude to Rose for her dedication and leadership, to UFS Strathfieldsaye for their generosity, and to everyone who contributed to this important cause. Your support is making a real difference in the lives of women and children in our community.
McAuley Services is in desperate need of toiletries and sanitary items for the women and children they support. Please give generously to our McAuley Care Pack drive by bringing donated goods to school, to students’ Religious Education classes or the General Office.
