SCHOOL SPORT VICTORIA: SANDHURST DIVISION

Congratulations to all members of our College Swim Team that competed at the Sandhurst Swimming Carnival on Friday 1 March, which was held at the Faith Leech Aquatic Centre. It was a great day for all with some outstanding achievements recorded. Below is a list of all those students and relay teams that finished in the top three of their event/s.

Special congratulations to Layla Day who not only was the 16yr Girls Age group Champion but also broke five individual association records on the day and was part of the two relay teams that also broke records. We also congratulate Varlee Nihill who broke an individual record and was also part of the record-breaking Relay teams.

In the Diving section we also had some outstanding performances with Summer Zealley and Kiara Field both winning their sections and in the process Summer broke the association record for the 12-14yr Girls. A highlight was that all three of our diving representatives have directly qualified for the State Finals to be held at MSAC on Friday 26 April.

Our overall results saw us finish third in both the Boys and Girls Divisions and third overall. A fantastic achievement by the whole team.
