Farewell to the Class of 2018

On Thursday 25 October the whole school will assemble to farewell our Year 12 class of 2018. Year 12 parents are most welcome to attend this assembly which will commence at 9.45am in the Marian Gym.

I wish all our Year 12 students every success as they embark on their Victorian Certificate of Education exams. We look forward to getting together with the students and their families for the last time on Thursday 22 November, at Graduation Mass and the Celebration afterwards, for the very first cohort of Year 12 students to graduate from Catherine McAuley College.

Our Charter as a Mercy School

Mercy Education Ltd (MEL) is responsible to the Institute of Sisters of Mercy of Australia and Papua New Guinea for the governance of Mercy Colleges across Australia. The aim of all Mercy schools is to remain true to Catherine McAuley, the foundress of the Sisters of Mercy.

MEL have recently launched ‘Our Charter as a Mercy School’, which is available to download below. Catherine McAuley wanted first and foremost for her schools to live and to teach the Good News revealed in Jesus Christ. We will use the Charter to remind us of our commitment to Catherine’s vision and as a lens through which to embrace the Gospel message, to inspire our school to strive for excellence in learning and achieve student success.
