Parent Forum: The Future World of Work

What opportunities lie ahead for our young people?

Our Year 10 students are very fortunate to have the opportunity to attend a presentation at the Ulumbarra Theatre on Tuesday 30 July to hear from Mr Ivan Neville from the Labour Market Research and Analysis Branch in Canberra, who will provide engaging and insightful information on types of work into the future, industry needs and growth areas, skills in demand now and into the future, and educational pathways that enhance sustainable career opportunities.

Students will also hear from some Young Industry Ambassadors who have chosen a variety of pathways through school and further education into local, national and global careers.

Parents of all year levels are encouraged to attend an evening session which will provide some additional projections, followed by Ivan hosting a Q&A session with key industry leaders from our local area.
