Outstanding Representation at SSV Diving 2024

School Sport Victoria (SSV) – Loddon Mallee Region and State

Diving

On Monday 22 April, Kiara Field (Year 12) represented Catherine McAuley College Bendigo at the Loddon Mallee Regional Finals and then the State Finals of the SSV Diving competition.  She excelled in her age group to win her section of the Regional Competition.  This win gave her qualification for the State Finals that were held after the completion of all of the Regional Finals.

In the State Final, Kiara again showed exceptional talent and skill to be right in the mix all the way through the competition.  With scores close it was an anxious wait after the last round of dives, with Kiara finishing in second place by just 10 points.

It was an incredible result, and we are incredibly proud of her achievement.  Not only this year, but over her entire journey diving for the College.
