Our Place in Space: Year 7 Visit to Bendigo Planetarium

This week Year 7 students visited the Bendigo Planetarium as part of their current unit in Year 7 STEAM, ‘Our Place in Space’. Students were transported from the Discovery Centre into space where they visited a breathtaking display of stars, planets and galaxies, learning more about stars, the Earth, the Sun, satellites and planets in our solar system. The immersive experience ignited our curiosity and enhanced the learning completed in STEAM classes. The trip to the planetarium was an experience that left a lasting mark on our understanding of the universe and our place within it.
