‘Kelpies Flying’ published in Vox Bendigo Young Writers Anthology

Congratulations to Max Harrop (Year 10), whose poem titled Kelpies Flying was one of thirty selected out of 200 entries for the Vox Bendigo Book 2021 Young Writers Anthology, titled Animal.

The anthology was launched on 26 May at The Capital following this year’s Bendigo Writers Festival.

“35 students from Mildura to Moama, and Boort to Bendigo, are now published authors thanks to the generous support of Rotary Club Bendigo and Bendigo Venue & Events. Congratulations to all published students.” (Bendigo Writers Festival)

The Vox Bendigo Young Writers Anthology, in its fifth year, showcases poetry, fiction and non-fiction works from students in grade 3 to 11.

Max is involved in the St Mary’s Writers’ Club and regularly submits his work to a variety of competitions. Well done Max and all other contributors from Catherine McAuley College.
