Karen Welcome to Bendigo video launched

Eleven of our Karen students attended the Karen ‘Welcome to Bendigo’ video premiere launch presented by Bendigo Community Health Services Karen Youth Group. The purpose of the video is to showcase Bendigo as a wonderful multicultural destination. It is totally in the Karen language and introduces Karen people to the sites, services and  attractions that make Bendigo such a wonderful place to live. This resource provides a true insight into everything that makes the Bendigo community great for Karen arriving in Bendigo or perhaps thinking about moving to the city.

Khin San Aye, one of our Year 11 students, sang beautifully in front of the audience at the Latrobe Visual Arts Centre.
