SCHOOL SPORT VICTORIA – SANDHURST DIVISION

Junior Girls Football

On Wednesday 24 April the Catherine McAuley College Bendigo (CMCB) Junior Girls Football Team played in the Sandhurst Division Competition at the Mercy Junortoun Sporting Precinct.

The girls played great football all day and their skill level was fantastic. The team had three convincing wins; it was great to see the team focused and determined to play quality football throughout each match, no matter the score.

Well done to the girls and congratulations on winning the competition. We look forward to the Loddon Mallee Regional Final in Swan Hill next term. Congratulations on an awesome day.

Thank you to our student helpers Rania Jackson-Leahy, Chella Fitzgerald, Dempsey McDonnell and Tully Place for supporting the team. Special mention to Joshua Kelly and Max Connick for showing excellent leadership and umpiring throughout the day.
