Health & Physical Education Day 2019

A huge day of health and sport-related fun was held on Tuesday 29 October at Coolock.

The day started off with our Ride 2 School event, with free fresh fruit and muesli bars with music out at the bike racks from 8.30-8.55am.

At first break there were five different events to get hearts pumping! Games in the gym, basketball on the Undercover Court, as well as Soccer, cricket and frisbee golf on the ovals.

At second break the activity levels ramped up again. There was a dance session in the Drama space, netball on the Undercover Court, badminton in the gym as well as cricket and AFL 9s on the ovals.

HPE staff were super-excited to run these events for all Years 7 to 9 students. It was great to see so many getting involved in the events. What better way to spend your breaks than being active and playing sport with your friends, trying to win icy poles?

Thanks to all the students involved and the many staff who helped out on the day to make HPE Day 2019 such a success!
