Great success at the Cross Country

14/07/2022

SCHOOL SPORT VICTORIA – STATE DIVISION

On Thursday 14 July, Catherine McAuley College had thirteen students qualify for the State Cross Country event held at Yarra Valley Racecourse. In what is already an incredible feat to make the State event, many of our students achieved great success. On a cold day, students were treated to a boggy and wet course to run.

CMC’s results were highlighted by Abbey Reid achieving second place in the Girls 14yr category, Genevieve Nihill, Caitlyn Kelly and Milla Finch achieving third in the Girls 15yr team category and fourth placings to Genevieve Nihill and Kade Hutchinson in their respective categories. Huge congratulations to all athletes on their performances. Thank you to Mr Jack Timmins for escorting the students to Melbourne.
