From the Principal – 15 September 2021

The Principal, Mr Brian Turner has prepared a video message for our community. In it, he acknowledges the difficulty for our school community, as once again we are not able to celebrate Mercy Week and Mercy Day together as we would like. This is difficult for everyone but especially for our Year 12 and Year 7 students who miss out on these traditions from our calendar. However, we look forward to gathering online for the Mercy Day liturgy and connecting as a community.

Over the next week or so, he is hopeful for further updates regarding COVID-19 and what that will look like for returning to school next term. Year 12s are reminded to keep up with information that is currently being sent out. Hopefully, there will be opportunities for them to celebrate their years at CMC later in the term.

Mr Turner acknowledges the challenges that our community has faced recently and urges families to take care of each other. Watch the message in full.
