End of Term Assemblies and Term 2 McAuley Care Pack Drive
17/07/2025At the campus-based assemblies at the end of Term 2, the Spirit of Catherine Award winners were announced and presented with their certificates by the Year Level Coordinators.
Student leaders were heavily involved in the assemblies, making sure they ran smoothly and introducing all speakers involved.
In addition to the Spirit of Catherine winners, students with commendations were celebrated, cast members from The Addams Family musical production performed at both assemblies and sports participation and achievement was celebrated with a slideshow. An update on the House Cup celebrated involvement in the many House Cup activities during Term 2. Placings were close and inspired the student body to be even more involved during Term 3.
A heartfelt thank you to our entire College community for your generous contributions to the McAuley Services Care Pack Drive during Term 2. Your donations of sanitary and toiletry items will make a real difference in the lives of women and children fleeing domestic violence.
Over the last few weeks of Term 2, the Seeds of Justice teams at both campuses have dedicated their lunchtimes to assembling care packs filled with essential items.
A highlight of the assemblies on the final Friday of term was the visit and talk by Ms Hayley Marriott, the Fundraising and Engagement Lead at McAuley Services, who attended both our assemblies to discuss the work of McAuley Services and where the care packs will go.
