Elevate Education – Exciting Study Skills Opportunity

Year 11 and 12 – VCE and VM Students

It is with great pleasure that I write to students and families about a new and exciting initiative for 2025.

CMCB has procured the services of Elevate Education to support our VCE students in further developing their study skills and exam preparation processes. We felt it was important for all of our Year 11 and 12 students to have the opportunity to develop a high level base line of learning around best practice for studying and preparing for assessments, exams or tests. Our Vocational Major (VM) students will be catered for as well, to ensure that new knowledge will be contextual around preparing for workplace presentations and certificate attainment.

Our wonderful teaching staff will then be able to build on this baseline level with specific advice around best preparation for each students individual subjects. We hope this will be a great experience for our VCE/VM students and will equip them with the capacity to maximise their potential and achieve the results they will be proud of.

Year 11 and 12 students will each have 3 sessions with specialised presenters from Elevate Education, tailored to the demands of their specific Year level. A copy of the dates for each of the sessions is in the flyer attached. The sessions will occur on Friday afternoons during each Year levels assembly times, negating any impact on face to face learning time.

An additional group of Year 12 students, who have been selected from the cohort by the teaching staff at CMC, will be offered an additional 3 sessions of time with Elevate Education, to further support their academic programs. Students nominated for these additional sessions will be contacted individually by myself. They will form the High Achievers Program (HAP).

We hope these additional sessions will be of great benefit to our VCE/VM students.
