Vaccination information

Vaccination Requirements

  • Staff in Catholic schools and Early Childhood services no longer need to meet vaccination requirements to attend work.
  • Parents, carers and other adult visitors (not performing work) are not required to show evidence of COVID-19 vaccine in order to come onto school property.

Wellbeing

Support for students and families is crucial. The CMC Student Wellbeing website will connect you to a range of links and support on a variety of topics, including how to book an appointment.

Remember that your child’s Student Advocate and Year Level Learning Leaders are important contacts for you and your child with regard to their wellbeing. Student Advocates and the Year Level Learning Leaders can be contacted via email. Link to your child’s teachers through PAM.

CMC has strong mitigation measures in place, including enhanced ventilation such as air purifiers, ongoing use of rapid antigen testing and ensuring those who are unwell stay home

If you feel unwell do not go to school.

Facemasks

  • Face masks are strongly recommended when maintaining distance from others is not possible.
  • The N95 masks offer much greater protection against Omicron variants than cloth masks.
  • The full details of the mask rules can be found on the Victorian Government website.

Rapid antigen testing (RA testing)

Report a COVID-positive result to:

  1. The College via PAM – Parent Notified Absence or by calling the College on 5445 9100 (normal notification of absence).
  2. The Department of Health via the call centre on 1800 675 398.

Hygiene and social distancing

To keep yourself, your friends and your family safe, there are four key actions that Victorians are being asked to continue:

  • Stay at home and get tested if you have symptoms of coronavirus (COVID-19), however mild.
  • Practise good hygiene – wash your hands and cough and sneeze into a tissue or your elbow.
  • Keep your distance – stay 1.5 metres away from people where you can.
  • Wear a face mask when required.
