Coolock Homework Club Begins

Catherine McAuley College is offering all Coolock students the opportunity to attend a Homework Club, supported by the Learning Enrichment Team and Teachers.

The Homework Club will run daily during Break 2 (1:40pm-2:20pm) in room MY-12. Students are able to attend all, or part of the Homework Club during Break 2 and are welcome to bring their lunch.

The purpose of our Homework Club is to provide a positive and supportive environment that assists students working on a range of projects such as: major assessment tasks, classwork, revision for tests or reading set English texts.

Alternatively, students may like to use this time as an opportunity to receive support and assistance with developing their organisational skills.

To accommodate all three year levels, set days have been allocated for specific years levels (please see below). If a student, however, feels that they need support outside of their allocated year level day, they are welcome to attend on the other days.

  • Monday – Year 7
  • Tuesday – Year 9
  • Wednesday – Year 8
  • Thursday and Friday – all year levels
