27/05/2025SCHOOL SPORT VICTORIA – LODDON MALLEE REGION
Cross Country
On Tuesday 27 May, the CMCB Cross Country team travelled to St Arnaud to compete at the School Sports Victoria Loddon Mallee Regional Finals. Our team of 33 students competed in VERY cold conditions, but with the prospect of qualifying for the State Finals in July, all competitors were keen to get running.
Congratulations to Grace Mulqueen and Mila Childs for their outstanding results, finishing in 1st place in their respective age groups. Special mention goes to Imogen Brown and Kade Hutchinson, who placed 2nd, and Poppy Carter and Molly Beasley, who finished 3rd.
Overall, the results were fantastic, with 21 students qualifying to compete in the State Finals on Thursday 24 July (indicated with ‘Q’).
