Celebrating Term 3 achievements and starting Term 4 in summer uniform

06/09/2019

As we move towards the end of Term 3, I would like to take the opportunity to thank the school community, particularly the students, for their wonderful successes throughout this term.

It is important that we continue to make opportunities to celebrate the achievements of our students across all areas of learning, intervention supports and co-curricular.

On Mercy Day we will celebrate our heritage as a Mercy College. As part of our Mercy Day we will acknowledge student achievements by presenting our Spirit of Catherine Awards. These awards will be presented each term at special assemblies to students who exemplify and reflect our Mercy Values.

Next term, we move to summer uniform from the first day of Term 4. (There will not be a transition period, as there sometimes is, where students wear either summer or winter uniform.) As part of our Sunsmart Policy and summer uniform requirements, all students are to also have a school bucket hat. These are to be worn during all break times. Any uniform items are to be free of graffiti and damage.
