Caritas Ks and Carnivals – last day of Term 1, 2023

Celebrate the end of term with a mix of reflection, fun and fundraising.

FUNDRAISING FOR CARITAS

Our fundraising efforts on Caritas Day support Project Compassion’s support for communities in our region. Your generous support can help change lives today – and For All Future Generations.

Funds raised from the BBQs, walk and fun activities will be in support of Caritas.

Students are welcome to bring their own lunch if not intending to purchase from the BBQ, but please note that the canteens will not be open at lunchtime.

Students are requested to please bring small change to participate in the carnivals and to buy lunch.

ABOUT – COOLOCK

The Easter Liturgy and Spirit of Catherine Awards presentation will be held in McAuley Square before students travel by bus to the beginning of the Caritas Ks walk. Following the walk, students will return to Coolock for a BBQ lunch, fun activities and live music in McAuley Square.

Funds raised will be in support of Caritas.

DETAILS

  • Date: Thursday 6 April 2023
  • Program: Easter Liturgy in McAuley Square, followed by Caritas Ks, lunch and fun activities
  • Dress: College sport uniform
  • Bring: hat, sunscreen, snacks and drink bottle. Canteen facilities will not be available.
  • Time: Students dismissed at 2.20pm

ABOUT – ST MARY’S

Normal class for Periods 1 to 5.

The Easter Liturgy and Spirit of Catherine Awards presentation will be held in the Marian Gym, followed by a BBQ lunch, fun activities and live music on the Marian Forecourt steps.

Funds raised will be in support of Caritas.

  • Dress: Normal College uniform for Thursday timetable.
  • Bring: Hat. BYO lunch optional. Canteen facilities will not be available.
  • Time: Students dismissed at 2.20pm
