Caring for our Common Home

Four staff members, Mrs Deb Sinnott, Mrs Therese Lynch, Miss Sophie Reddin and Miss Elle Livingston had the opportunity to attend a professional development day with staff from Sacred Heart Geelong. The facilitator was the inspiring Sr Margie Abbott. Margie is a sociometrist and the focus of the retreat was unpacking Pope Francis’ Laudato Si in light of caring for our common home. It was a wonderful opportunity for reflection, prayer and silent time and also to meet teachers from another Mercy school.
