Year 12 VTAC News

As we come to the last few days of school, there are some important things Year 12s need to know about the Careers Office and VTAC.

DATES and EMAILS

All Year 12s should be aware of dates for VTAC. If you are unsure, check out the VTAC website at: http://www.vtac.edu.au/dates.html. Year 12s also need to make sure that they check their emails regularly, both school (for relevant careers news) and their designated VTAC website (for course and other updates). Please be aware that the VTAC email address should not be the school email address as this will no longer exist on January 16 when offers come out. An email from school has been sent out to check your given email list is up to date.

Course Preferences Close for NOVEMBER
VTAC Course Preferences close for the exam period from 31 October to 19 November. They WILL open again before finally closing on the 19 December.

Please be reminded that the Careers Office will be open to discuss courses, preferences and employment counselling for Year 12 students and their parents. We will be available from 9.00 am to 4.00 pm each day up to and including Wednesday 19 December. This date is after you receive your VCE results.

Year 10 Work Experience October
We currently have a number of Year 10 students participating in our Work Experience program throughout Bendigo and the state. Please look out for more information next newsletter.
