Australian Athletics Championships 2024

Recently some of our students competed for Team Victorian and the Australian Athletics Championships in Adelaide.

Mila Childs – Year 7

• Triple Jump – 3rd (National Bronze Medallist)
• 400m – 5th place
• High Jump – 8th place
• Medley Relay – 3rd (National Bronze Medallist), Mila ran the 300m leg.

The Victorian Under 13 Team were also the overall Australian championship winners.

Imogen Brown – Year 8

• 800m – 7th place

Nicholas Hietbrink – Year 8

• 200m Hurdles – 19th place (32.57)

Grace Mulqueen – Year 9

• 1500m Bronze – 3rd (Bronze Medallist) and a PB
• 800m – 4th and had a 2 sec PB

The Victorian Under 15 Team were also the overall Australian championship winners.

Genevieve Nihill – Year 11

800m – 17th place (2:20.28)
