Application for Extended Leave

As part of our ongoing commitment to supporting students in balancing their academic responsibilities with personal, family, and extracurricular commitments, we’d like to remind you about the process for notifying the school of extended student absences.

If your child will be away from school for an extended period – whether due to family matters, sporting commitments, travel, illness, or injury – please complete the Application for Extended Leave prior to their departure. In the case of unexpected illness or injury, the form should be submitted as soon as possible.
This process is important for two key reasons:

1. Accurate Attendance Records: It allows the school to maintain a formal record of your child’s absence, which is essential for attendance tracking and reporting.
2. Student Accountability: It encourages students to take responsibility for their learning by communicating with their teachers and making arrangements to catch up on any missed work. This helps build independence and strong organisational skills.
