Agrifutures Bug Bites


As part of our Bug Bites topic in Agrifutures, we explored how insects might be part of the solution to the world food crisis. This learning culminated in a taste testing practical where students used cricket protein, produced in Australia, to create and enrich chocolate balls. We also conducted a blind tasting with supermarket corn chips and cricket protein corn chips and sampled snack crickets and churros-flavoured meal worms.
