Active Learning and Real-world Experiences – SWL

12 – 16 May 2025 saw a great week of on-the-job learning, with approximately 120 students enjoying valuable industry experience in a variety of workplaces across Bendigo and the central Victorian region.
Students in the Year 11 and 12 Vocational Major (VM), and our Year 10 Work Preparation classes, undertook 1-week work experience opportunities in the occupations and workplaces that interested them for their future careers, gaining valuable experiences and insights.
Catherine McAuley College Bendigo staff visited many of the students onsite, where active learning and real-world experience was clearly evident.
Well done to all the students for their hard work in organising their placements and giving it their all to maximise their learning opportunities. Keep up the great work!
