Mining Industry and Careers Focus for Year 8 STEAM

In STEAM Year 8s have been learning about the mining industry and connected careers. Using only paper and tape, they built a headframe to lift marbles for their major assessment. Working in groups of two or three, they had to design, build, test and evaluate their project, while also developing both independent and team-based skills.
