‘The Addams Family’ musical – a show to remember

What a show! A huge thank you to all the cast, crew, musicians and supporters for making this year’s production of The Addams Family one to remember, it was outstanding!

Our week at Ulumbarra Theatre to make our final preparations was a big one. There was a mixture of excitement and nerves in the air throughout the entire week, from the moment the curtain rose on our dress rehearsal to the final round of applause on closing night. The production brought students from all year levels together, sharing in the laughter, excitement, and even a few happy tears on closing night. It reminded us of the beauty of creativity and the magic that happens when we come together to create something amazing.

The months of hard work and dedication from students and staff truly paid off. The cast brought their characters to life with passion and flair, while the backstage crew helped make everything run smoothly. The students who took on leadership roles in stage management, choreography and hair and makeup are to be commended; they did a wonderful job helping to bring the show together. It was a true team effort that showcased the incredible talents of the students within our College community.

Another huge thank you to everyone who supported the show, from the students in the cast and the crew backstage to the families and staff behind the scenes. And, as the cast sang in ‘When You’re an Addams’, you’re part of one unforgettable family, and this production made us feel like one big, spooky, spectacular team. We’re already counting down the days until next year’s performance!
