Year 8 Girls Table Tennis

School Sport Victoria – Loddon Mallee Region Finals

On Thursday 25 October, our Year 8 girls’ team from Catholic McAuley College came runners up in the Loddon Mallee Region finals competition. The competition was held at the Eaglehawk Badminton and Table Tennis Centre.

The girls played well, winning their first match 6 rubbers to nil against the team from St Mary MacKillop College, Swan Hill. The second school they were up against, Henderson College from Mildura, fought fiercely and although our team won a couple of games, the competition was too tough. Henderson will go on to the State finals.

Congratulations to all the students who represented the College and participated with very fair and positive attitudes.
