Indonesian Ambassadors

Throughout Term 4 both Coolock and St Mary’s were fortunate to have three Indonesian ambassadors visit the school one day a week to assist in Indonesian classes. Our ambassadors are Indonesians studying at Melbourne University – Bram, Sartika and Putri from Bali.

They spent time in our Year 7 to 10 classes, giving students information about where they are from and assisting with speaking and writing tasks. They enjoyed the opportunity to participate in cooking an Indonesian meal with the Year 10s and to work with the Year 8 students on a mapping activity.
